If currently under care of GI in active practice, then referring doctor needs to speak w/ me prior to referral.. Pt needs to be notified of referral and be advised to answer their phone, or referral must be returned.. Pt must agree to be seen in timely fashion (not months later) or else care will be returned to referring doctor for tracking.Our office needs to be made aware of large insurance deductibles or cost sharing ahead of referral
